National Beer Day

I have to say that we're not really beer drinkers in this house...like not at all.

Nevertheless, I'll pay respect to the anniversary of the end of Prohibition. It's been said that on the evening of April 6, 1933, people lined up outside breweries and taverns, waiting for midnight when they could legally purchase beer for the first time in over 13 years.

I wonder if people would have lined up for cake pops too?

*It should be noted that these cake pops were promptly discarded after this shoot and not given to my kids because we don't promote underage drinking - or the eating of things that might send the wrong message J

  2. Cheers!! My name is Justin Smith, and I am the founder of National Beer Day. When I started this holiday almost 3 years ago, I had no idea it would get so big so fast. It's good to see this important day in our history start to get the recognition it deserves. Thank you for helping spread the word about one of my favorite days of the year!
