Iced Tea Day

It's believed that iced tea was invented at the 1904 World's Fair. A tea plantation owner planned to give away free samples of his hot tea to fair visitors. But it was so hot that summer in St. Louis, no one was interested. So, he dumped ice into his tea, creating a drink that became a huge hit at the fair.

I can assure you that these iced tea cake pops will be a huge hit any time of the year. With warmer weather just around the corner, this is the perfect way to beat the summer heat!

  1. Warm weather around the corner? Not sure where you are but it was 98 in West Virginia yesterday!
Love the Ice Tea today :)

  2. Hi Karyn-
Wow, 98 I'm jealous! I'm in Puyallup WA. (South of Seattle). We've had a few sunny days lately, but truthfully its been more like hot chocolate weather. Glad you liked Ice Tea Day. :)
