It's National Sponge Cake Day!
Do you know what makes my "sponge" cake
different than any other?
Mine is inspired by the guy who lives
in a pineapple under the sea!
Absorbent and yellow and porous is he!
Even though a classic sponge cake contains beaten eggs, sugar, and flour, I've decided to be more literal.
So, go out and buy or bake a traditional
sponge cake if you must.
