I have to admit that I'm not a big coffee fan.
But in honor of today, I've caffeined-up my ice cream a bit and came up with Coffee Ice Cream Cake Pops!
Even this non-coffee lover has to say these are darn tasty!
But these pops are definitely made to eat right away, otherwise you're left with a melted mess on your hands.
Lucky for me I have a house full of hungry kids!
The process of making these was a little different.
I lined cups of a muffin pan with the cake and then placed the ice cream in each cup to shape it.
After placing the pan in the freezer until they hardened, I removed the pops from the pan, inserted the sticks, and dipped them in chocolate.
Voilá!
Here is a quick snap shot of some of the steps.

They look heavenly!!!! Do your kids know how lucky they are?!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! My kids often get to take a cake pop to school as dessert in their lunch. They're the envy of the class :-)
