Day 6: Christmas Cake Pops - Stockings

Christmas Stocking Cake Pops!

The great thing about these is that you can decorate
them any way you want.
To color the socks, first I dipped the whole thing in red candy melt. After letting it dry completely, I dipped the toe in green, and then pipped it onto the heel.
Finally, I dipped the top of the cake pop in white and textured it with a toothpick.

I chose to fill my stockings with Teddy Grahams, candy canes, chocolate crunch sprinkles, flower sprinkles, and Sixlets candies. But really, the sky is the limit and you can let your imagination run wild here!

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...
But these cake pops were made with some added flair!

  2. Glad you both like these. They're my favorite so far!
To make the hat, I stuck a chocolate chip on top of the pop to get the shape, and then dipped the top in red. Check out tomorrow's post for all of the details!
