Pop.O.Licious Cake Pops - THE BOOK

I told you I had some big news and I wasn’t kidding.
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that later this year I will be
coming out with a cake pop book!

It will be called Pop.O.Licious Cake Pops and will have more than 40 unique cake pop designs complete with pictures and instructions. The actual in-store date is still TBD, but if I had to put a date on it, I’d say we’re shooting for late-September. Just in time for the holidays!
It will be a smallish, pocket-sized book and will make a great stocking suffer for everyone on your list!

We are still in the final editing and layout stages so we don’t have a finished product just yet, but we’re getting there. The picture above (and below) is a sneak peek at the cover! It’s not 100% final, but aside from a few tweaks, it’s pretty close. It wasn’t until just recently that we were actually able to announce this project, so we’ve kinda been working on this “behind the scenes” for the last six months or so.

I started this blog well over a year ago as something fun to do and to utilize as a creative outlet. Never in a million years did I ever think it would lead to this! A few months into the blog I began to think that the idea of 365 cake pops would probably lend itself pretty well to a book or even a calendar, but had no idea how we would go about doing that. Well, coincidentally, the very same week that my husband and I sat down to map out how we would approach such a project, I received a very unexpected email…

The publisher Peter Pauper Press contacted me and asked if I’d like to write a cake pop book for them. Seriously?!? What were the odds?! Of course I would! What perfect timing!

Long story short, after coming to terms and figuring out our timeline, we were on our way. Over the course of about 3-4 months last winter, my husband and I were hard at work piecing together this book, chapter by chapter, cake pop by cake pop. Baking, decorating, creating, photographing, writing, editing, and everything in between. A lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into this, and regardless of the end result, we know that we poured all of our heart and soul into it. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and we’re soooo excited!

Oh, and guess what? The book just showed up on Amazon.com! The cover isn’t there, and some of the info is incorrect, but it’s really just a place holder until the book is complete and sent off to the printer.

Anyway, I really just wanted to clue you all in on the good news. This book has been a true labor of love that simply would not have been possible without YOU! Pop.O.Licious Cake Pops would never exist without all of my loyal readers and followers. So, when you look at it that way, this book is all for you! I really hope you enjoy it!

There will definitely be more info to share as we get closer to a release date. But in the meantime, I just had to give you a first look!

Who wants a copy???

    1. Aly- Thank you! Your Easter pops look fantastic!! Good work. As for baby showers, is there a certain theme your using?? You can't go wrong with animal pops. Owls, Bees, Ladybugs, or always basic pops using the party colors.

    2. Actually, the theme is the Happi Tree (http://www.partypail.com/happi-tree-tablecover.html?productid=happi-tree-tablecover&channelid=FROOG&utm_source=google%20product%20search&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=PartyPail&gclid=CJ2pqungoa8CFelgTAodLX6vZA) so owls would work perfectly...I'm just trying to figure out how you did it. LOL
