Those Look Familiar...

I was beyond thrilled when FamilyFun Magazine asked if they could use my Tangled Ball of Lights Cake Pop design for their upcoming issue.
Of course they could!

Check out the full spread in the December/January 2013 issue of FamilyFun, and see them in all their glory!

They adapted the design and made them with doughnut holes.
I think they turned out fantastic!

I first introduced my Tangled Ball of Lights Cake Pops on
November 27, 2011 as part of a Christmas celebration!
Find the complete instructions on how to make these in my book

Though it's pretty clear where the real inspiration for these pops came from...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

In a bit of a rush today to get things done before we head to Grandma's for dinner. With a newborn in the house and a two-year-old demanding everyone's attention, this definitely isn't my best work, so don't look too close! But I wanted to pull these together to add a little something to the dessert table.

Plus, (and sometimes I feel like the only one), I really do NOT like pumpkin pie!

These turkey cake pops are actually my favorite recipe: One box of Oreo cookies crushed up and mixed with 8 oz. of cream cheese. Sooo good!

To decorate the turkeys I used candy corn for the feathers, candy eyes, Wilton triangle sprinkles for the nose, a Christmas light sprinkle for the gobble, and leaf sprinkles for the wings and feet. Quick and easy!

Hope you all have a wonderful Turkey Day!

In Stores Now!!!

On your mark, get set, GO!

Our book, Pop.O.Licious Cake Pops,
is finally in stores and available to purchase!

My family and I recently took a trip to our local Barnes & Noble just to see it on the shelves. I couldn't resist... had to make sure it was real!

We found it on their "Little Treasures" spinner with other small, pocket-sized books. If you're at a B&N, look for it near the registers or over by the games & gifts. It's also in many local independent stores, and probably most other book stores that are out there, but Barnes & Noble is the big one.

I'm tellin' ya, this pretty little package has "stocking stuffer" written all over it! So grab one for yourself and a few more for everyone else on your list!

'Little Treasure', indeed :)
