Love Bird Cake Pops - Part 2

As I mentioned in my Valentine Love Bird - Part 1 post,  I had a second bird design to share... well here it is! Just in time for Valentine's Day!

For these, I was inspired by Bubble and Sweet's amazingly cute bird cake pops. I really liked her design and I wanted to add my own personal touches.

I shaped the body by hand and dipped in pink candy melt. As they dried I attached the candy eyes, sprinkles for the beaks, and heart sprinkles for the tail. The biggest difference in these pops is that I attached the wings after I dipped them. To get the color contrast, I used red candy melts cut in half, and attached them as the pops dried.

Add a little red bow and these are ready to deliver to your sweetheart!
When he asks how you came up with such an adorable idea,
you can say you were just winging it!
